Who Can be a KSB Member?

Join hands with other Kenyans of goodwill to support the “Sight and Life” national initiative.

  • Every sighted Kenyan (irrespective of age, gender, faith, creed, race, profession, ability/disability)
  • All Persons with Visual Impairment (PWVI)
  • All Government agencies
  • All Corporates and private bodies,
  • All learning institutions
  • All religious and non-religious organizations
  • Communities where people can be born or acquire disability at any time naturally or otherwise.

Membership can be on an individual basis or as a corporate entity, each with its own different benefits & membership duration. Membership can be renewed annually based on the date one signed up or at an extra amount, a one off payment making one a lifetime member.

    Lifetime Membership

    The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.

    An individual will be enrolled into this category of membership upon paying a non-refundable membership fee of KES. 30,000.

      Individual Ordinary Membership

      The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.

      Individual membership will be divided into four (4) categories:

      • Bronze - This category will be for individual who will have paid annual membership fees of KES. 1,000
      • Silver - This category will be for individual who will have paid annual membership fees of KES. 2,500
      • Gold – This category will be for individual who will have paid annual membership fees of KES. 5,000
      • Platinum - This category will be the highest and it will be for individuals who will have paid annual membership fees of KES. 10,000

        Corporate Membership

        The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.

        Corporate Members are Public Institutions (Parastatals and government agencies) or Private Companies and Not for Profit Entities that subscribe for membership with the Society and commit to work towards the achievement of the Society objectives.

        Honorary Membership

        The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.

        will award Eminent persons/ individual recognized by the Society to have made a truly significant contribution to the Society and its aims and objectives.

        An Honorary member must be nominated by other members. Members desirous of proposing such members must send details of the person with contact information to the Executive Director.
