Mt Longonot Charity Climb

The Mt Longonot Charity Climb, stands as a hallmark event for KSB, echoing the ideology of Eliud Kipchoge that no human is limited. It happens annually on the third Saturday of September. This climb serves a multi-faceted purpose, aiming to raise public awareness about the risk of blindness, address the increasing threat of visual impairment in school-going children, and support learners with visual impairment by providing essential learning materials and assistive devices.

Participating in the Mt Longonot Charity Climb serves as an opportunity to contribute to positive change for individuals with visual impairment and disabilities within the community. The funds raised during the event will support critical initiatives, including providing assistive technology devices, magnifiers, white canes, Braille machines, Braille papers, and ensuring adequate pep kits for learners with visual impairment. Additionally, the climb facilitates the re-training of transcribers and technicians in inclusive and special schools.
